Things that are easier on Linux than on Mac or Windows

20 000 applications and more can be installed through the Software Manager or the package management system
No major changes to the user interface, all of the major user interfaces made for Linux have been continued
Updates can be done when you want them, on your schedule
You can still use your computer when updates are occurring
Updates cover almost all the programs you have installed, there's no need to upgrade different programs at random different times
Updates include security fixes and program improvements
Updates are smaller than on Windows
No anti-virus necessary, and no worries if it's updated or configured or working properly
